About Dr. Chenda Moore

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. My master’s degree is in counseling but my doctorate degree is in educational leadership. I have worked in the field of education supporting individuals and families as a teacher, school counselor, and administrator for 29 years. I am a survivor of a genocide and grew up in an Asian family. I look forward to helping individuals becoming the best version of themselves.

I believe supporting the individual needs of each client is my main therapeutic purpose. Emotional and social wellness are essential components of a healthy life. Relationships with different people such as family, friends, acquaintances, and employers may influence our mental wellness. When mental health issues are not addressed, feelings of hopelessness and dissatisfaction with different facets of life, may occur leading to an unfulfilled and inauthentic life.

I look forward to working with you.
