About Charlene McCleoud

Hi, I’m Charlene.

Life can change in ways we never expected. Sometimes you’re trying to hold everything together while carrying stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, past experiences, or the weight of responsibilities that no one else sees. You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than seven years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, career stress, emotional abuse, and the many pressures that come with everyday life.

My goal isn’t to tell you what to do it’s to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. I believe you are the expert on your life. Together, we’ll slow things down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, identify what’s getting in the way, and build on the strengths you already have.

Every person and every story is different, so I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I tailor our work to your unique needs, drawing from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed, person-centered care. More importantly, I meet you where you are and work alongside you at a pace that feels right for you.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, navigating a difficult season, healing from past experiences, or simply looking for a space to process life, you deserve support. Healing isn’t about having all the answers it’s about learning to understand yourself more deeply, reconnecting with your strengths, and taking one step at a time. You don’t have to do it alone.

Reaching out for support takes courage, and I’m honored to walk alongside you as you move toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.

I look forward to meeting you.

“Very understanding therapist. She helps me through the dark times so I can see the light”

“Charlene was amazing! I would highly recommend her, she listens and gives great advice. She helps you look at things in another perspective and opens your mind to other possibilities. Very easy to connect and talk with!”

“Charlene is very helpful. She knows just what to say, and gives me plenty of time to vent, or talk about my situation. She is respectful and professional, but also very down to earth and easy to talk to. I’ve noticed great improvements in myself since starting therapy with BetterHelp. The worksheets are good to, and Charlene sends me the appropriate material, which keeps me engaged. Thank you.”

“Charlene McCleoud listened and offered insightful responses and ideas for me going forward. I would highly recomend her to other patients.”
