Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
About Chanel
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping children, adolescents, adults, and families feel heard, supported, and empowered. I have over eight years of experience working with diverse populations in inpatient residential, in-home therapy, and outpatient settings. I have experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, life transitions, and family-related concerns.
My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I help clients process life experiences while developing practical skills they can use outside of therapy. I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based strategies. I also incorporate Motivational Interviewing, psychoeducation, and coping skills to support emotional regulation, stress management, and resilience. My goal is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients can build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and work toward lasting emotional well-being.

What clients say
- “Chanel made me feel very comfortable during our first session. She took the time to set goals for us to work toward together, which made me feel like there was a clear direction moving forward. She listens without judgment and creates a comfortable environment where I feel heard. I also really appreciate that she doesn’t pressure you to talk about anything you’re not ready or comfortable discussing.”
- “I've only had my first session but I appreciate how comfortable she made me feel. She is really easy to talk to and seems goal oriented. I was able to relax pretty quickly once I began talking to her and I know I can be transparent and address some really difficult issues I am facing during this time.”
- “In my first session with Chanel I felt extremely comfortable to speak on what’s going on in my life without judgement but with honest feedback. She created me a list of goals that we will work towards based on our conversation. She has a nice way about her that you feel heard but also helped to see where you could be better.”
