About Brandy Westerfield

I am licensed in Kentucky with 15 years of professional work experience in outpatient therapy. I am especially helpful to clients experiencing relationship issues, trauma, intimacy related issues, infidelity recovery for couples, self-love, motivation, self esteem, confidence, ADHD, codependency, & young adult issues. It’s important to me that all clients feel safe and comfortable in a judge-free zone which is why unconditional positive regard is my first and foremost priority. I don’t like to waste time or make sessions about myself and prefer a gentle approach to building an emotional tool box. Some of the treatment approaches I use are cognitive behavior, motivational interviewing, EMDR, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy as well as good, old-fashioned humor;) Talking to someone about problems, stressors, or past pain can be both difficult & relieving and I’d like to do that with you while keeping special focus on YOUR specific strengths. I’ve found that most clients fear reliving shame and/or early childhood experiences the most so if that’s you, guess what? You’re “normal”. If not, feel free to be “not normal” in sessions with me.
