About Arian Englesson

Hi! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and have been practicing since 2007. The major focus of my practice is on women’s issues, phase of life changes, and spiritual development. My purpose is to support you to live life at your greatest potential. I strive to guide you to be your best self no matter the external circumstances. We all struggle at different phases in our life, and I have found that it is best to have support and connection to navigate these difficult times.

I have significant experience with treating depression, anxiety, trauma/abuse, perinatal/postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, grief/loss, addiction, relationship conflict, and family issues.

My style is warm, friendly, and real. I am honest and direct with a sense of humor. I draw from many modalities, but my favorites are solution-focused, mindfulness practices, cognitive behavioral, and experiential. I want to give you practical tools to help you feel better as soon as possible. I also draw on non-traditional approaches including expressive therapies such as art, music, movement, and storytelling. If you would like to deepen your spiritual connection, I can assist you with that as well.

I graduated with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from University of Central Florida in 2007. Aside from being a therapist, I’m also a Certified Hypnobirthing Instructor, Registered Yoga Teacher, and trained labor doula. I love yoga, art, nature, spiritual connection, and living life! I have 2 children and live near the beach.

If I sound like I’d be a good match for you, please send me a message now so we can get started on our work together!

“I have been searching for a therapist for years, and I am thankful to have found Arian. She is very professional, understanding, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to.”

“Arian was able to explain what was my brain going thru when I was very confused, and very scared. The generalized anxiety disorder was something that I didn't even know existed and surely I had no idea how to manage the symptoms and get better until Arian, thru her understanding and empathy and professionalism, showed me how. I'm in my way to recovering and I'm extremely thankful to Arian for helping me out when I felt lost.”

“Arian is a great listener. I felt supported and held by her professionalism and non-judgmental listening.”

“Amazing”

“She’s awesome”

“Arian is a wonderful, empathetic therapist that has so far helped me so much in dealing with insecurities and relationships. She is open and friendly, which has made me feel safe to open myself up to her. Highly recommended!”

“Love Arian’s warm and calm manner during counseling sessions. She makes you feel respected, cared for and being listened to. It is such a relieve after being matched with two counselors who didn’t have any time for scheduling and responds coldly. <br /> I feel lucky to find her.”

“She is an amazing counsellor. She has been helping me find the root of my depression (PTSD) and guiding me through it, step by step. Though it may take a while, I can honestly say that because of her guidance, I'm starting see the light at the end of the tunnel and that is comforting.”

“Arian is so great - she hears your concerns, validates your experience and makes feasible suggestions. She was beyond helpful and I feel so positive and am moving in the right direction to overcoming postpartum depression and anxiety as well as improving self esteem. I’m so grateful to her expertise and down to earth personality. I found her so relatable and easy to talk to. Definitely recommend!”
