About Alexandra “Lexy” Spett

As a licensed therapist with 24 years of experience in California, I specialize in supporting late adolescents (16-19), young adults (20–30), and their parents through life’s transitions and challenges with clarity and confidence.

Please note: I do work with adults (35-64) on a case by case basis.

Becoming an adult is not easy. Whether you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, family conflicts, or issues with motivation, self-esteem, or confidence, I’m here to help.

With parents of emerging adults, I offer compassionate guidance to navigate relational shifts while fostering a stronger, more meaningful connection with your young adult.

My style is warm, direct, honest, and rooted in compassion. I believe in creating a safe, respectful space where we can collaborate to build a treatment plan tailored specifically to you. Your journey is unique, and I’m committed to meeting you exactly where you are.

Taking the first step toward change can feel overwhelming, but it’s also an act of courage and self-care. Together, we’ll work to identify your strengths, build your confidence, and help you create the life you want.

I’m ready to take this journey with you!

“had a positive experience working with Alexandra “Lexy” Spett. She was professional, supportive, and easy to talk to. She created a safe and nonjudgmental space where I felt heard and understood. Throughout our work together, she helped me better understand my challenges and develop practical strategies to manage them. I appreciated her thoughtful approach and the way she tailored support to my needs. Overall, I would recommend her to others looking for compassionate and effective care.”

“I’m not new to therapy, but I’m definitely new to sticking to therapy. For the last five years, I’ve had several attempts at therapy and have hit so many dead ends with therapists giving me generalized statements like I just need to go on walks and talk to people more and then I’ll be better. Even my first therapist on this platform just wasn’t a fit for me, but because I had the opportunity to shop around for my therapist if you will (not to take away the respect of their profession and them as people) I took a chance with a second therapist, and I’ve been with Lexy for the past year, and I am incredibly grateful that she has been a part of my life and has helped me in developing the tools and thinking that I need, and how I feel much more like a sufficient adult than I did a year ago from now. I feel like I’m comfortable enough to say I’ve made leaps and bounds and I really don’t know where I would be without therapy. Without Lexy in particular. So thank you for providing a platform for me to find someone that truly has taken the time to understand me and help me.”

“I really appreciate the way Lexy listens and provides feedback. She gives me thoughtful responses and plenty of things to work on. I am really happy to have her as my therapist.”

“I can’t recommend Lexy enough! She is such a great listener and creates a safe, welcoming space where I always feel heard and understood. What I appreciate most is that she doesn’t just listen, she gives me practical tools and strategies for handling stress and anxious situations that truly make a difference in my day-to-day life. I’ve grown so much since starting therapy with her, and I’m so grateful for her support and guidance”

“Lexy has been incredibly helpful in assigning homework, working through difficult situations, teaching me about different methods to feel closure and has a way of making us feel like friends talking through problems. I feel like I am really growing and working on bad habits. 10/10 recommend”
