Stephanie Powell
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
About Stephanie
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in the state of Indiana. I graduated from University of Southern Indiana and have worked in various professional community health settings with people of all walks of life. I am passionate about helping people live empowered lives free from depression and anxiety. I believe it takes courage to ask for help when life gets hard. In our sessions, you set the pace. My goal is to offer a compassionate, strengths-based approach to each therapy session.
I utilize highly effective evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Person-Centered Therapy to support clients in navigating life transitions and other emotional challenges. I aim to provide a safe space where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences and feel confident in moving forward while making meaningful life changes.
Whether you are seeking assistance to overcome stress, work through life’s challenges, or improve relationships, I can guide you through challenges to work toward your goals! I would be honored to support you on your journey towards healing if you are looking for a therapist who will listen, offer acceptance, and help you sort through your thoughts and experiences which may be holding you back from living your best life. Let’s connect to see how we can work together to achieve your goals.
