About Jessie

Jessie A. Lewis Bettendorf, MA, LCPC (she/her)

Jessie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, authenticity, and hope. She believes every person has unique strengths and resilience, and she strives to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to create meaningful change.

Jessie takes an eclectic, client-centered approach to therapy, thoughtfully tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique needs, goals, and experiences. She integrates evidence-based approaches including Person-Centered Therapy, Individual Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness practices to help clients build insight, develop effective coping skills, and move toward healing.

Jessie understands that life can bring periods of stress, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, loneliness, relationship challenges, and uncertainty. She partners with clients to foster self-awareness, resilience, and confidence while supporting them in achieving their personal goals and improving their overall well-being.

Jessie earned her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Before becoming a therapist, she spent more than 13 years working with high school students in an educational setting, giving her valuable experience supporting adolescents, families, and individuals through life’s transitions and challenges.

Outside of the counseling office, Jessie values maintaining her own well-being through hiking, running, walking, gardening, biking, and spending quality time with family and friends. She believes that self-care, connection, and time in nature are important components of living a healthy and balanced life.
