About Ingrid
Greetings and thank you for reading about me! I am a licensed professional counselor and a certified school counselor. I have 17 years of counseling experience. I offer a safe, non-judgmental environment. I work with you to to sort out the details of your life and provide appropriate resources to empower you. I have extensive training on stress and anxiety alleviation techniques. My counseling approach is embedded in person-center therapy. I believe the client knows him/herself best. My role is to help you achieve successful outcomes and work towards positive resolutions. Additionally, I incorporate cognitive behavior therapy. This approach allows me to guide clients in reducing stress and learning to focus on day-to day challenges, thoughts and behaviors.
I look forward to helping you uncover the tools you already posses to improve and manage your life. Generally, I respond to messages during the evening hours as quickly as I can. However, on the rare occasion it takes me longer, I may be attending to other clients and or professional/personal responsibilities. I sincerely appreciate your patience. We are in this together; our therapy relationship would be a partnership. You have taken the first step by seeking therapy, let’s begin our work on the journey to your healing process. You deserve to have the life you envision.
In my spare time, I love to jog and walk my dog. I am married with two daughters.
