About Laura Bianchini

I am a licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio with over 12 years of clinical counseling experience working with individuals, families and couples. I have a Master’s degree from John Carroll University specializing in depression, anxiety, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, parenting, divorce, adjustment disorders, stress management, self-esteem and body image issues. I am a very open-hearted and a non-judgemental therapist that specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, yoga, yoga therapy, meditation, and fitness that I believe can each help people deal with life challenges, as well as stress and anxiety.

I am a warm and compassionate counselor who is passionate about helping clients achieve their goals and supporting them wholeheartedly during the process. I have a diverse background and have lived in many cities and countries providing me with a global sense of humanity and understanding. I have experienced many life stressors and I am empathetic to life’s difficult circumstances and predicaments. Together, we can work on your concerns and issues at your own pace and capacity.

I strongly believe counseling provides a strong platform for one’s change, growth, and exploration on many levels. Counseling offers a way to get in touch with one’s inner feelings and can provide insight and awareness, enabling clients to better make the right choices that achieve the change that is necessary. I am here to provide you with on-line support at your convenience and help you with problem solving, decision making skills, and new coping skills as needed. Together we can collaborate on your goals, needs and objectives that are most important to you at this time. Counseling can provide the support and guidance necessary to help you build the confidence you may need at this time to meet your new challenges. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals by providing a consistent support system as you go through life’s challenges.

10 Reviews

“I've only just started my therapy journey with her, I wish it gave me a few more weeks before a review. That being said, she still seems very professional, and is helping me guide my concerns towards some specific goals we can work on together. She is a very active listener and based on the questions she's asking me I feel like she's doing a good job at trying to help me find my way to the root of my issues.”

“My husband and I went with Laura for couples counseling and both left each appointment feeling heard. She makes it very easy to open up and talk about things that may be tough. I cannot recommend her enough, especially for couples counseling!”

“Laura is extremely nice. I love her calm, patient methods because it's not easy getting all of your thoughts out at the time of a session. I really needed someone to be patient with me and I'm so blessed to have found someone like her.”

“Laura is friendly and a great listener.”

“Laura is very efficient with her responses and is willing to work with your schedule. She is knowledgeable, empathetic and nonjudgmental. She provides helpful and interactive activities such as worksheets, podcasts and apps. She listens and provides great insights. Highly recommend.”

“Laura is a very kind and attentive person. I always felt better after every chat with even some laughs ...I think that is amazing. She's great.”

“Laura heard and understood me immediately. She has incredible active listening skills and she just lets me get everything out there without judgment. I feel lighter without having to keep this stuff inside in the dark.

Her lightness and easy guidance is a nice breath of fresh air after holding my breath for years. I keep thinking to myself “why didn’t I do this earlier?” Even after switching counselors initially because I didn’t have a connection with my last match.”
