I am licensed in Tennessee with 18 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, abuse, and depression. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many qualities that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. I believe that all of us have suffered from feeling that we are not in control of our lives. When that experience persists, then our instinct to protect ourselves can push us into patterns of behavior that range from bad habits to behavior that damages relationships and threatens our physical and mental health. I help people by focusing on their strengths rather than their weaknesses, to build supportive relationships with themselves and others, and to help them see themselves as unique and worthwhile persons. We do this together through a therapeutic relationship.
