About Dr. Elaine Beauchamp

Great to Meet You, I am licensed in Michigan and the U.S. Virgin Islands with over 25 years of professional work experience. I have experience in assisting clients in dealing with mood management related to adjustments and transitions in everyday life. I think it’s important to approach each situation from an integrated healthcare approach which means looking at all aspects of the individual’s situation on an Emotional, Physical, Psychological, and Spiritual basis. I feel it’s crucial to have a safe space to share without feeling judged or needy. Mental health support needs to be accessible, inclusive, and intersectional, especially when addressing queer-specific issues like coming out, internalized shame, and gender dysphoria. I am looking forward to talking with you and sharing more about how I can assist with your present concerns.

“I always looked forward to my sessions with Dr. Elaine. She felt like a fierce supporter of my well-being and encouraged me to continually choose what is best for myself, given my tendencies towards people pleasing and caretaking.<br /> I appreciate the way she pointed out patterns I've exhibited. She did not stand for my self gaslighting when I wanted to settle or compromise. She also offered many worksheets and resources for extra learning and self inquisition. I am grateful for her!”
