About Cynthia Marshall

I am a clinical therapist with fourteen years of experience providing care in South Carolina. My professional experience encompasses a personal treasure in working with diverse populations, cultures, and age groups.

I support clients navigating the everyday challenges of life, and recognize the importance of supporting them in responding to the natural seasons of life and the accompanying stressors that can at times overwhelm .

I partner with my clients to provide support in managing symptoms of anxiety, depression, loneliness, loss of identity, grief, and fear. These symptoms are typically associated with changes in life circumstances, relationships, parenting, marriage, divorce, family dynamics, grief, and aging.

My approach is client centered, validating, respectful, warm, and caring. I emphasize the importance of identifying one’s personal strength, voice, and personal empowerment; utilizing a strength-based, solution focused perspective. I appreciate the unique aspects of my clients individual life experiences, values, and right to self-determination.

My preferred therapeutic modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered, humanistic, psychodynamic approaches. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey!
