About Treva Ross-Sanders

I am a Professional Counselor licensed in Arkansas and have worked for over twenty five years in counseling and case management with adults and families. My license specialization is in Rehabilitation Counseling. I have worked with adults and families with a variety of clinical issues ranging from Dual-Diagnosis with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma, career and job adjustment counseling, relationships issues, parenting, and other issues.
My therapeutic approach is of warm acceptance, unconditional positive regard as I utilize my skills in Person Centered and Cognitive Behavior Therapy and most recently Cognitive Processing Therapy. I believe in facilitating growth and change through support then working with you to identify, explore, process, and implement new or refined skills to manage thoughts/feelings/emotions/behaviors.
I believe that initiating the first step to change is through counseling and facilitating this change involves taking a journey. A journey of self introspection and exploration along with safety and support is what I believe I can do along with you.

“Excellent therapist! She is kind, personable, and experienced. I’ve never had such a good experience with therapy! Her patience and compassion is unparalleled. Thanks so much for guiding me through my most difficult challenge!”

“As someone who was new to therapy, I was hesitant and unsure about what to expect. From our very first session, Ms. Treva Ross-Sanders eased my worries and made me feel completely comfortable. She created a safe, judgment-free space where I could open up, and I’m so grateful for that.

Her empathy, wisdom, and ability to ask the right questions have been invaluable. She’s helped me navigate challenges in ways I didn’t think were possible, and I’ve learned so much about myself in the process. Her guidance has truly been life-changing.

If you’re hesitant about starting therapy, I can’t recommend Treva enough. She has made my first experience with therapy so positive and meaningful. I leave our sessions feeling lighter, more confident, and ready to tackle life’s ups and downs with the things I’ve learned.”

“Treva has been a great help to me. She is very personable and really listens to me. I have found that I have come a long way since first meeting with her. She remembers everything I've told her and does a wonderful job relating former incidents with current ones. She has also been able to help me see things I haven't seen on my own, which is what a good therapist is all about! Treva has been the best therapist I've ever had. I am very thankful to have found her.”
