Ophelia Mayfield

Hi, my name is Ophelia Mayfield and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Mississippi. I have 12 years of counseling experience. My experience ranges from mental health to school counseling. I have worked at inpatient, outpatient, and school settings with adult and children populations. I have the most experience working with clients dealing with anger management, self-esteem, anxiety, and building relationships. I like to use cognitive therapy approach during sessions. I want to focus primarily on the client’s current issues to help him/her come to a resolution. I love incorporating the use of journaling and meditation in sessions.
