About Marc Rott

Most people come to therapy because something in their life just isn’t working anymore. Maybe you’ve tried managing it on your own, or talking yourself out of it, but the same patterns keep showing up. When we work together, my focus is on helping you understand what’s actually underneath all of that — the real drivers behind the anxiety, the overwhelm, the stuck places.

Symptoms can point us toward what needs attention, but they’re rarely the whole story. The shifts happen when we slow down enough to look at the beliefs, habits, and reactions that quietly run the show in everyday life. That’s where things start to open up.

I use Cognitive Therapy in a very grounded, practical way. No jargon. No pressure to be perfect. Just learning to see your thoughts more clearly, make sense of why they show up, and respond with a little more steadiness instead of getting pulled into old loops. I also encourage simple, realistic self-care — the kind that’s actually doable — so you have the capacity to make the changes you’re wanting.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start. Most people don’t. You just need a willingness to show up
