About Dr. Kathryn Cornella

As a licensed Health Psychologist in Arizona, I bring a decade of compassionate counseling experience supporting individuals through life’s complex challenges.

My professional practice centers on helping clients: (1) navigate stress and discover work/life balance, (2) enhance self-esteem, (3) define life purpose, and (4) orchestrate successful life transitions.

As a PhD Organizational Psychologist, I specialize in evaluating executive/management workplace dynamics. I facilitate client-directed career planning by offering individualized consultations which include: (1) goal setting, (2) accountability, and (3) the celebration of achieved results.

As an Integrative Functional Medicine certified specialist (IFMCP , I offer clients state-of-the-art, evidence-based knowledge and skills to optimize their health and well-being.

Vibrant mental health requires a commitment to lifestyle choices that consistently support mitochondrial energy and vitality. Metabolic metabolism is key. Prescriptive exercise physiology, nutrient fueling, and sleep/circadian rhythm restoration empower everlasting change.

My PRCFMP, HMA and relapse prevention approach to addiction is deeply rooted in removing all neuro-chemical/energetic addictive substances and processes which affect: (1) mood, (2) self-control, (3) cognition, and (4) behavior. I help clients release past experiences through awareness, understanding and forgiveness. By actualizing best choices, clients experience new lives of ‘resurrection’ which welcome the actualization of their gifts and talents.

As a Catholic Christian, I provide guidance that respects all personal faiths and values which support intellectual, psychological, physiological, emotional, social and spiritual wellness.

I offer professional strength as clients courageously awaken God’s best actualization of themselves.

“Unconditional love is the flame that lights the world on fire .”

“Dr. Cornella is heaven sent. A true breath of fresh air, a beacon of hope and one of my favorite people to connect with each week. She helped me through one of the most trying of times, and reminded me of the value I hold and the sacred purpose my life carries. My daily journey has shifted to how will I live out each day in a sacred way and touch every life I come into contact with from a space of trying to survive. “Dr Cornella is the best therapist I could ask for. She cares so much about her patients, thinks about them during the week and checks in, provides a positive and grounded outlook on life and life’s challenges. “Dr Cornella is a fantastic therapist who is capable of speaking to the science based point of view and the spiritual point of view without pushing one of the other. My sessions with her always unlock a new way of solving a problem - sometimes a problem I havent even identified yet. She's been a revelation in helping me navigate a very extreme career change all while helping me also process some very challenging family issues at the same time. I would not been able to stay on the path I am without her attentive ear and timely guidance.”

“Dr. Kathryn Cornella is a skilled and compassionate therapist. I began working with her during a period of grief and depression while being a caregiver for an aging parent. During an overwhelming time, she helped me to find joy in my life again. Shortly after doing sessions with her, I started to grow in my confidence. She helped me understand how to prioritize my self-care between sessions, which improved my quality of life. She is kind, and her passion for helping others shows. Her approach is gentle and intuitive. After just a few sessions, I felt like I was looking forward to life again.”

“Absolutely amazing woman! Very excited and grateful to be able to work with her. I've been in and out of therapy my entire life and she is truly the best that I've had the pleasure to bare my soul to. Each time you meet, you'll feel like the those struggles you've been having may not actually be so big and intimidating. Very upbeat and connects through knowledge and personal experience. She's not talking from a text book, but definitely knows what she is talking about. If you are fortunate enough to be able to book her, quit reading this and go do it!!! I promise you won't be disappointed. I'm blessed to have her.”
