About Dr. Karyn Smith

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LP) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) licensed in Minnesota with over 25 years of experience working as a Psychologist, Therapist, Counselor and/or Life Coach. I have worked with patients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD and ADHD. I have helped many people who have endured neglect, physical and/or sexual trauma and emotional abuse.

My therapeutic style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, narrative, psychodynamic, solution-focused and rational-emotive counseling. I individualize our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique, specific needs.

It takes courage to move toward a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. When you are ready, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!
