About Karla Brockman

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over thirty years of experience in the counseling/mental health field. I have worked primarily in the community mental health setting with clients who had a wide array of concerns. These concerns included depression, anxiety, grief/loss, trauma, women’s issues, stress. I think you will find me warm interactive and supportive. My primary counseling approach is cognitive behavioral therapy, however, I draw from a variety of theoretical perspectives/techniques. Thanks so much for reaching out. I look forward to meeting you. Together we will develop an action plan in order to meet your unique goals.

“I finally sought help for anxiety and depression after a couple years of horrific experiences in my family and was paired with Karla Brockman. I cannot say enough good about Karla and her ability to guide me through figuring out how to deal with current and past trauma and to really come to terms with the fact that I can't fix everyone else's problems, only my own. This realization has led me to a newfound confidence in myself and I honestly have not felt so powerful in a very long time. Karla is personable, compassionate, a wonderful listener, and doesn't shy away from the tough conversations. I truly owe her everything for helping me find my way through an incredibly dark time to a more peaceful life!”
