About Jeanette Fischer

Hi, I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) based in Washington State.

Life can be hard. Messy. Sometimes overwhelming in ways you didn’t see coming. Whether you’re dealing with loss, anxiety, relationship stress, addiction, or just feeling stuck, you don’t have to sort it all out on your own.

I’ve worked with a wide range of people, including those navigating the justice system as well as those who aren’t, and I support clients dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and substance use. No matter your background, my goal is the same: to meet you where you are and help you move forward in a way that actually feels doable.

My style is laid back, real, and collaborative. I use a strengths-based, solution-focused approach, with a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. That means we won’t just talk; we’ll look at patterns, build insight, and come up with practical ways to help you feel better and function better in your day-to-day life.

I also believe therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or overly serious to be effective. Humor, perspective shifts, and paying attention to the small wins all have a place here.

You are the expert on your life. My role is to help you make sense of what’s going on, identify what you want to change, and support you in actually getting there.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating. If you’re here, you’ve already taken a meaningful first step.

I offer appointments primarily on Sundays, with some availability on Saturdays and weekday evenings.

If you’re ready, we can start figuring this out together.
