About Holly Goodman

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) working with individual, couples and families for over 31 years in North Carolina. Additionally, I hold a certificate in coaching which allows me to address employment issues, work-life balance needs and life coaching when needed. My practice has allowed me to help and support positive change for many people facing life’s most challenging experiences. I work with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, communication and grief and loss on many levels. I believe in a positive and affirming approach to therapy. I am open-minded, warm and fully believe my clients have great value and opportunity for growth, change and improved perspective when taking advantage of what therapy has to offer.

My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic and solution-focused therapy. I believe through my work, using compassion, education and motivational techniques I can help you improve mood, circumstances and self-awareness for better health and life satisfaction. Providing a safe emotional space for my clients to process their concerns is paramount to me. Understanding what you want and using an interactive, sensitive and caring approach is my goal to supporting you as you reach your goals.

The first steps toward change is understanding the need and seeking support. I am here for you and look forward to having the opportunity to provide you with a supportive therapeutic experience that is empowering and beneficial.
