About Casey French

Hello, my name is Casey French and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.

Through guidance, encouragement and support, I have helped clients of all ages and backgrounds discover a better quality of life. My main area of focus is first responders; police, fire, EMS, and military personnel that work in crisis everyday and that live in a constant state of alertness. Transitioning back into “normal” life with family and friends can be difficult. Not only can asking for help be stressful, but finding the time can be all but impossible. Being able to reach out to someone at times that work best for you is critical and is why I began working with Betterhelp. Are you seeking relief from depression, anxiety, frustrations in relationships, low self esteem? My goal is to provide a safe and supportive setting where you can explore your deepest questions and to help you find ways to become more confident and comfortable in the world.

My approach is collaborative and eclectic although I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I will seek to understand you as a unique individual and tailor my approach to what works for you. I am experienced and dedicated to working with you in overcoming the obstacles that cause you distress and to create a more balanced and satisfying life. Let me help you take the first step in accepting your past, living in your present, and changing your future.

“Casey is exactly what I needed when I was at my lowest. She listens with intention, and has referenced several things I’ve said in the past 4 months I’ve been working with her, showing me she listens. Her knowledge and expertise make me feel like we are having a conversation, not a teaching lesson. She never tells me how I should feel, but instead asks questions to let me explore my thoughts and emotions. And the best part is she keeps it honest and real, asking the hard questions while still championing me. This time in my life would look very different without Casey and I’m very grateful to have met her.”

“Have only had a couple visits with Casey but has been pleasant and meaningful. Also, she has very good accessibility and hours.”

“Amazing!”

“Casey has been phenomenal so far, actually taking the time to understand my needs and where I'm coming from. I've been hesitant about therapy since I had a prior horrid experience, however, I've been very happy so far.”

“She is very reliable to me and always listens, but also gives great feedback.”

“I’ve only met with her 3 times but so far she seems to care about my well being. I’ve struggling with substance abuse for 10+ years and she has really helped with processing my past trauma and pointed out the reason to why I continue to use. I am optimistic about working with Casey throughout my clean and sober journey.”

“I absolutely love Casey! She listens and then responds in a way that helps me out. She challenges me in a way that works. After only a handful of sessions with her, I'm noticing a difference. In a way, when my anxiety flares up over a situation, I remember our session and I feel more confidence.”

“Casey is excellent; she listens and is patient. She provides couples therapy for my husband and me, and I believe that she supports us both. She provides a safe space for us to discuss our feelings, and she helps us understand those of the other person.”

“Casey is great. She has helped me immensely. She really listens to me and has given me the tools to really help myself. I would highly recommend her.”

“I have a very busy schedule and don't have much time to chat with Casey, but sometimes it's been a few days she always sends me a message to see how I'm doing, very caring. Glad she is the counselor I got!”

“Supportive and caring whenever offering advice during this difficult time, making me feel there is hope to recover sooner.”

“I’ve been working with Casey for just over a year, and she’s been amazing. Got me to slow down, think things through, and avoid serious paranoia, anxiety and stress. It’s given me loads more confidence and has changed my life.”

“So far she's been very helpful at helping me make sense of the chaos that is overwhelming me. We are teasing apart all the different things that are going on, and engaging both global and individual ways to address things. So far I'm very pleased and I'm looking forward to more of the CBT/DBT therapy we've been engaging in.”

“Boast Video Testimonial”
