About Anjanette Morton

Hi, I’m Anjanette.

So glad you are here. I am an open-minded and compassionate therapist with a deep understanding of anxiety, depression, grief, women’s issues, life transitions, addiction, and complex PTSD. I am honored to provide a safe, supportive, judgment-free space for you to explore, grow, and heal.

My therapeutic approach is comprised of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I also use bibliotherapy and humor, as appropriate.

My approach is rich in empathy and patience, with respect for you as the ultimate expert on yourself. I also believe that therapy is a collaborative process. With you in the lead, we can work together to explore and gently challenge your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and make positive and sustainable life changes.

In our first session, we’ll get to know each other a bit and discuss challenges you may be experiencing and goals you have in mind.

If you deem us a good fit for more sessions, we’ll continue to examine the roots of your distress and develop personalized solutions,

My hope is to spark insight and joy and provide tools to overcome obstacles, manage any overwhelming emotions or stress, and improve your overall well-being.
