Amber Cocchiola

Hi. I’m a proud LSU Alumni with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Religious Studies along with a Master’ Degree in Social Work. I have a passion for empowering others and helping them navigate through life’s difficulties so they can live their life to the fullest. My professional experience ranges from addictions, mental health, and geriatric care to my most recent position as a hospice social worker. I’m committed to helping you navigate life’s challenges by providing a supportive, non-judgmental space to explore your experiences. My approach to therapy is client-centered, meaning we will work together to identify goals and create a path toward achieving them. I integrate evidence-based practices with a holistic understanding of how your past, present, and social environment influence your well-being. This is a safe, nonjudgmental, and inclusive space for clients of all backgrounds.
