About Alissa Bell

Hello! I am a therapist with nearly 15 years of experience helping all types of people. In what feels like another lifetime, I was a high school English teacher, so I have always worked with people, and I truly love it! I enjoy getting to know my clients and feel passionate about guiding them on their path to becoming more confident with handling stress. We all deal with stress, and I firmly believe there is not one person that hasn’t become overwhelmed with that stress from time to time, so I applaud your decision to reach out for help. I look forward to guiding you on your therapeutic journey.

“Alissa is an incredible therapist! She really “gets” me. I feel comfortable with her and feel that I’m growing in my distress tolerance skill set. She listens, supports, and tells it like it is. I don’t want a therapist who I just “discover” after a year what I need to be doing- I want a therapist who tells me what I need to hear and know. Alissa is fantastic. Highly recommend!!”

“Alissa is kind, attentive, and empathetic. She knows when to question me to get me to think and when to just listen. Truly a wonderful person”

“Alissa has been my therapist for almost two years. She has listened and helped me understand myself to make better decisions during tough times. I would recommend her!”

“Alissa Bell helped me to get out & to make it through the darkest time in my life. I don’t know what I would have done without her guidance, support and encouragement. I had been seeing different mental health professionals with little or no improvement. That made things go from worse to worse to me feeling like there was no hope. She is down to earth, nonjudgmental, & made me feel relaxed from our first video session. I would recommend her to anyone & everyone. I’ve been seeing her for a few years now. The difference is that now she is helping me to thrive in this life (rather than survive!) Thank you, Alissa!!! :)”

“Very professional and responsive.”

“She’s an excellent therapist that offers very sound advice”

“Alissa Bell has guided for for almost a year now to help me understand why I do the things I do and how to be self aware and recognize when these things are resurfacing. She has provided me with the tools to reinforce healthy behavior and has been a safe place for me to share my personal and business struggles with. I’m looking forward to another year with Alissa Bell!”

“Alissa is a wonderful therapist. Always had a plan and a great approach. she is a great listener and not only navigated my sons needs, but my helps me so much along the way.<br /> Thank you Alissa!”

“Talking to Alissa is like talking to a friend to me. Alissa is the friend that has really great advice that challenges me to think a little harder or outside the box when I am stuck on a problem I can’t let go of. I feel heard and validated when I speak with her. She has put together a “toolbox” for me to help me get through anger, anxiety and depression. She has been a valuable part my healing journey.”

“She is very much patient oriented,”

“Alissa seems to be great and responds quickly. My daughter loves her personality. I don't interact with her as a counselor so I can't speak to that side.”

“Alissa Bell has been so supportive and helpful. My niece has had so much improvement and looks forward to her sessions. She has even supported me through the process.”

“Good”

“Although this is only my second session, I do feel like I can share my thoughts, struggles, opinions, and believe that my therapist is truly trying to help me improve.”
