About Alyssa Meyer

Hello! I’m Alyssa (she/hers). I have been working as a clinician since 2021.

I have vast experience with trauma, grief, sexual behavior problems and traumas, and general mental health. I have worked with individuals with anxiety, depression, conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, and other “life issues.” I love to meet my clients where they are at and address any issues they are struggling with, however, grief and anxiety are my clinical favorites.

I believe in the individuality of the person recognizing that “one size does not fit all” when it comes to therapy! I use a variety of modalities such as DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused brief therapy, and activity therapy. I focus on individual mental health needs, and psycho education. I use a trauma-informed approach. I have experience providing individual, group, and family therapies and leading support groups.

I recognize that starting therapy can be a scary journey for some. I want to create a safe space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings in a judgement free zone.
