About David Stewart

Dave Stewart, LPC, LAC, CAS, MAC
Licensed Professional Counselor | Licensed Addiction Counselor | Master Addiction Counselor | Certified Addiction Specialist
With over 20 years of professional experience, I am dedicated to helping individuals create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), Master Addiction Counselor (MAC), and Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS), I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations across Colorado — including civilians, active-duty military members, and veterans — guiding them through life’s most challenging transitions.
I specialize in treating a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma recovery, relationship and parenting challenges, addiction, career uncertainty, OCD, ADHD, and other emotional or behavioral difficulties. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.
I integrate evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic Therapy, Psychodynamic approaches, and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) to create personalized treatment plans that promote healing, self-awareness, and empowerment. My philosophy is rooted in respect, compassion, and nonjudgment — ensuring that every client feels seen, heard, and supported without stigma or labels.
Taking the first step toward therapy is an act of courage and hope. Whether you’re working through personal pain, seeking greater clarity, or striving for growth, I am here to walk alongside you — helping you move forward with purpose, confidence, and resilience.
Let’s work together to build the life and emotional wellness you deserve.

“David is an amazing therapist and has helped me and my partner grow and move through stuff we never thought possible. When we started therapy with David our relationship felt hopeless and we for sure thought we were at the end of our rope and the relationship was over. It’s been weeks since we have fought and our communication has changed in ways I never thought possible. He always checks in with me personally about certain things I struggle with and how we are both doing when it comes to work and our family. We have great sessions, laughing and sharing all kinds of stories. David provides wonderful strategies to help us move through things as a team, and points out the things we can both be blind to at times. I’m sure at times me and my partner look like we are from the Wild Wild West but it never feels like we are being judged for our honesty a wild thought process but celebrated.”

“Mr. Stewart has been incredibly helpful through my journey, insightful, realistic, kind, and honest.”
