About Dwayne Kilgore

I am a Mental Health Therapist. I have been working as a LPC for over 6 years and I have been a Christian Lay Counselor in the Dallas area for over 15 years. I have worked with individuals and groups with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issue, however my main area of support is dealing with Trauma and clients with PTSD. I have helped the Vets over the years to navigate through some of their trauma as well as many relationship issues caused by their trauma.

I have a warm, supportive, interactive and positive approach to therapy. I use the Cognitive Behavioral approach as well as other modalities for therapy in helping you to achieve your recovery goals. I use Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD and other trauma concerns.

It has been said, ”Put your hands in mine, and together we can accomplish what you could not do alone.”. I believe we all struggle from time to time and with the help of others, we can get through anything. You don’t have to walk this journey alone. I look forward to helping you become empowered to take control back of the areas your life that you need and want to.

I look forward to helping you to get more out of life.

“Great Theropy with Mr Kilgore”

“Dwayne is a good man. Speaking with him is always a great experience. He isn’t afraid to call out BS and instead of putting you down, focuses on the solution. As men we don’t always need someone to tell us it’s ok - we need a role model who corrects our mistakes and guides us to a better life.”
