About Irene Kyprianides

I have been working as a therapist since 2008 in both private practice and community-based settings. The diagnoses that I have the most experience with are Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, Depression and other mood disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, as well as intellectual disabilities and behavior problems. Additionally, I have done extensive training/work with crisis intervention, addressing traumatic experiences, parenting difficulties, challenges that are unique to foster care/adoption circumstances, and self-harming behavior. I am a fully licensed Master’s level social worker, and am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have also completed advanced trainings in Motivational Interviewing and in various parenting strategies/interventions. For me, it is very important to take the time to understand my client’s circumstances and the factors contributing to the current challenges in your life. I take a strengths-based approach when working with all of my clients because I believe that you are so much more than just a list of symptoms or problems. I love to see my clients thriving, and I hope you will let me walk alongside you in your journey!
