About Mali Austriyak Mikhli

I have been a social worker for over 40 years. I picked this type of work because I learned at an early age the difference a competent, empathic and intuitive therapist can make in ones quality of life. I strive to be and do just that. I offer a treatment modality that is comprised largely of supportive and psychotheraputic intervention. I have experience with all ages and life stages as well as a great number of cultures, religions and lifestyles. My specialties are PTSD, bereavement and early childhood disruption and trauma .My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion . My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic therapy.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you

“Built a great rapport to start which is important to me. Mostly because you don’t want to open up to someone who is trying to judge or make you do work when you’re already hurting right from the start. She listens well and gives great input. Would highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Mali is helping us having a safe space to share our emotions and resolve conflicts. We really like her”
