About Brandon Woffinden

Hello, thank you for taking the time to view my profile! I appreciate the opportunity to get to know you! I have a passion for supporting and helping others and I want to let you know I honor your decision to seek help. I know this can be a scary experience but I want you to know that I will support you 100 percent. I believe the strongest people in the world are those brave enough to ask for help when they need it.

I received my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix in 2012. The previous 10 years were spent in Law Enforcement. The modalities I use most are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). I utilize interventions from all schools of therapy depending on client need. Mindfulness, meditation, emotional freedom techniques, deep breathing and cognitive reframing are some of the tools I use to help my clients. I have a passion for working with people to discover their own personal spiritual path. I have experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief and loss and first responder resiliency. Again, I would like to thank you for reviewing my profile. I look forward to working with you.

If you like you can o to my scheduling page and book a session. they are in 30 minute increments.

“I gravitated to Betterhelp because of the accessibility and affordability (and because my insurance seemed a scam and a pain in the ass). I've only had one session with my therapist, Brandon Woffinden, so far, but I experienced immediate relief and optimism. I really like Brandon. He offered me plenty of tools and shared his amazing website--which is a free resource for all kinds of mental health and well-being exercises and research. I look forward to my next session and I am already trying to enact some of the tools I was presented with. Go me! Keep it up! Get ready and handle it better when that swing comes my way again.”
