About Christine Garwick-Foley

As you know, sometimes life is overwhelming, resulting in feelings of grief, anxiety, anger, or fatigue. It can sap your motivation or leave you with thoughts of defeat and being stuck. I am here to gently help you find your way back, to reclaim your life and keep moving forward.

My practice is based on the knowledge that we are all holistic beings with physical, emotional and spiritual dimensions, dynamically woven together to produce the unique individuals we are. I am certified in Interactive Guided Imagery (sm) and Thought Field Therapy, and have additional training in behavioral nutrition, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR ), and NeuroModulation Technique therapy. I work primarily with adults (both men and women) on issues of grief and loss, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, trauma, and motivation.

When we work together, we will do more than just “talk.” We will work with the resources you already have but may not know how to access, and develop a few new tools in the process. I look forward to meeting you soon.

“I think the work she does with Adlerian psychology has helped me immensely to understand my triggers and work on building resilience. I began therapy because I was experiencing a great deal of burn out working in healthcare and taking care of aging family. The work we have done together has helped me be able to feel myself again as well as to reduce my anxiety and depression. I look forward to life now, instead of feeling like I am dragging a bolder behind me. I am truly grateful! She is an excellent therapist who I would refer to everyone!”

“Very understanding and professional”

“Thank you! I appreciate your time and thank you for listening.”

“Christine was a great listener and more importantly provided me with the perfect tools to help with my situation. I highly recommend her.”

“She’s great”

“My work with Christine has been very helpful in navigating difficult topics such as co-parenting, raising a teenager who is my step-daughter, and navigating a divorce. She has been a great sounding board for me and helped me realize I am doing things right when I have been made to feel for 11+ years of my marriage that everything that’s wrong with our marriage is because of something I did or did not do.”

“Christine is supportive as well as challenges me when my thoughts process may not be the only way to think about a situation. With that challenge comes potential interventions to use or different perspectives. Appreciate Christine's approach!”

“Chris has been super helpful in a time when I needed an unbiased view in the matters I have been dealing with. She is easy to talk to and flexible!”

“Christine was always calm, empathetic, and interested in what I had to say. She came up with creative ways to help me. I feel like I got over a hump, but I won’t hesitate to reach out for her help in the future! Thank you Christine!!!”

“She is amazing and very knowledgeable”

“Was very attentive and attuned to me.”

“Really appreciate Christine’s insight from her extensive experience”

“Christine is so awesome..she has helped me go from a relationship that should have ended long before it did to a happy healthy relationship”
